Weekend Part 1

The 3 day weekend went fast, but it was fun. We went to the Holiday Inn in Owatonna on Saturday.

Ethan had a blast playing in the waterpark. He went down the big slide all by himself and on the tube slide with dad, Grandpa Ron and Andrea. He didn't even really play in the kiddie pool much because he liked the slides so much.

Carson had his first time in the pool, he just sat in the water a little bit. He didn't know what to think...but he didn't cry!

Yipee for 3 day weekends!!

It's been another quiet week. So I will just post some random pictures for fun-which ended up being a grandparents theme. :)

Once I remember to charge my camera battery, I should have some fun things to take pictures of this weekend! We are going to a friend's birthday party tonight, where there will be lots of kids for Ethan to run around with. Tomorrow we are going with Jarred's family to the hotel in Owatonna that has the waterpark, just to stay for one night. On Sunday afternoon we may go to Sibley Park for a bit and have a little picnic and hopefully Monday get some things done around the house!! So a busy but fun weekend. Sounds like the weather should be pretty nice.

Nothing new...

I try my best to update at least once a week so I don't disapoint the few faithful readers that I have on this blog. :)

Carson is pretty much sitting up by himself now and still rolling around the room. I can tell crawling isn't far away. I need to get my house all baby proofed again, yikes! He also cut his first tooth last week. There must be a few more coming in, because he has been kind of cranky this last week.

Ethan has been playing outside and riding in the tractor when he can, although planting is now done. Now it's time for him to practice riding his bike so we can get those training wheels off!

This weekend we will probably head down to Fairmont and spend a little time at the campground. It would be nice to have some spring like weather...no wind...no rain...just sunshine please!

Together

I love it when I get a good picture of the two of them together! Usually Ethan is acting silly, or moving around or Carson doesn't cooperate. I thought this one turned out pretty good. I think Carson is going to be bigger than Ethan by the time he is 1! haha.

Happy 6 Month Birthday Carson!!

My little baby is 6 months old already! He is rolling all over the place and getting close to being able to sit up by himself. It might be awhile before he crawls, he is such a chunker! :) 19 pounds to be exact. I ended up taking him to the doctor lastnight because he has been coughing, he has an ear infection and some congestion in his lungs. The doctor gave him an antibiotic for his ear and that will help clear up his lungs. Poor little guy. Although, he still manages to give us his big smiles even though he feels crappy!

We haven't been up to much & I don't really have any new pictures to post, that's why I haven't done an update lately.

Ethan did quite a bit of riding in the tractor while Jarred and his dad were planting corn. One day he sat out there for 8 hours! He just loves it. I really need to get some pictures of him on the tractor. So he is anticpating getting back to the tractor once it's time to plant beans! He also knows it's almost time to be able to go camping with Grandpa & Grandma Poppe! He mentioned he really wants to go fishing, even though last year his idea of fishing was watching someone else hold his fishing pole. He just wanted to play with the worms.

Today is Brian & Renee's 30th Anniversary! Happy Anniversary!! :)

And of course Carson & big brother. Ethan loved holding Carson when he was smaller, but now we can't let him anymore because Carson just squirms away.

Spring is in the air!

I went for a walk during lunch yesterday outside and saw daffodils and other flowers starting to bloom already! I can't wait to buy flowers and plant my garden. I also look forward to playing outside with the boys after work and going for walks!!

Easter was actually a pretty relaxing weekend for us. The boys and I went down to Fairmont Friday night to have Easter a little early. Ethan dyed some Easter eggs and got to play outside with Grandpa and Grandma all day long on Saturday. Jarred was gone for a few days on his golf trip to Navoo, he came back on Saturday night. On Easter Sunday we went to church, relaxed the rest of the day and then Jarred's mom and Ron brought supper over to us. Usually we are on the go trying to go everywhere for holidays, so this was kind of nice!

Baptism

Baptism went great! Carson did good in church and we had a good turn out of family and friends at the house after church. I was all concerned about not having enough food, and everything turned out just fine. Thanks to everyone that helped me out! Our time hanging out with Shannon, Steve and Keisha went by really fast, but it was fun. Keisha and Ethan had fun playing together. My only regret for the whole weekend was not taking enough pictures, good thing Shannon had her camera out. There are a few pictures of us in front of the church that I don't have yet, so I will make sure to post those when I get them. (But only if I approve of how I look in them. haha.)

Not much else has been going on. I took Carson to the doctor on Saturday morning because I thought maybe he had an ear infection (he doesn't) and he weighs 18 pounds! Wow! I will be lucky if any of the summer clothes I had from Ethan fit him.

Hopefully the weather forecast is right and it will actually be in the 50's this week! For the last couple of years I have wanted to hide Easter eggs outside for Ethan, but it's always been to cold. Maybe this year it will work out!

Carson and Aubrey are going to be playing together before we know it, it's already cute to watch them together. Aubrey is going in for a kiss in this picture!!
