School Supplies?

In one month our "little" Ethan will be a kindergartner. It is so hard for me to believe! Everywhere I go I am reminded because of all of the school supplies that are out in the stores, and soon Ethan and I will be headed there together to pick out those school supplies! I am excited but sad at the same time. I just cannot believe how grown up he is. I can't wait to post the first day of school picture that I know every mom takes...you know...the one with the smiling kid wearing a new backpack and cute first day of school outfit. You can count on me to post one, probably that very same day. :) Thinking about this made me go and look at a bunch of pictures of Ethan from past, so I thought I would share a few.

Zoo & Waterpark

A few weeks ago we took a mini trip to the Como Zoo and the Waterpark of America with the Will family. Sara & I took the kids to the zoo during the day...and boy was it hot...and crowded. But the kids had fun! I have now made a mental note to not take the kids to the zoo on a day when it is going to be so busy, I don't like crowds...especially with a stroller. So after spending a few hours there we were more than ready to jump in the pool! Both boys had a great time. Carson was a little hesitant at first, but once he figured things out he was like a fish. He loved going down the slides with his daddy and was pretty fearless! Our hotel room had bunk beds and so Ethan was excited to sleep on the top bunk. A good time was had by all, we wished we could have stayed a little longer.

4th of July

So its a few weeks past the 4th...time just gets away from me! We had a fun time going to the campground over the 4th with my parents. Ethan had a blast swimming in the lake, Carson was a little hesitant but he liked to splash around in the water. Of course the biggest hit for both of them is driving around on the golf cart. It was hot that weekend, so driving around to get a breeze felt really good. The kids were worn out from being outside all day Saturday (and Ethan got to sleep in the camper Saturday night!) so we didn't stay up late enough to watch fireworks on Sunday night. There is always next year!

T-Ball

T-ball is already almost over for the summer! Ethan only has 2 games left. He has had a lot of fun playing, his team name is the "Pirates". I think he will be disappointed when the season is over. I already got a sign up sheet for fall soccer, that will be on his mind next! I have been thinking about fall already too...cool weather and no bugs sounds wonderful! It doesn't seem like to long ago that I couldn't wait for the weather to be warm. My mind changes quickly. :) Anyway, I am posting a video of Ethan batting, it's kind of funny because he just hit a short little hit and then didn't run right away. He wanted to pick the ball up and try again because he didn't hit it far enough!

Ethan's biggest fan was having fun at the game! He ran up to Ethan right after the game and gave him a hug...and then he probably tried to hit Ethan 30 seconds later, but it was cute while it lasted. :)

Summer Fun!

We are having a great summer so far! Ethan is loving Kids Connection. He got to go to a Twins game, he loved the new stadium. They have been to the WOW Zone, done swimming lessons, and tball. I hope to post some pictures of tball soon! He has a lot of fun with that and does a good job. It's entertaining watching those little kids play ball. This weekend we are going to Fairmont for the 4th of July, hopefully it won't rain so we can spend some time at the campground and lake. Next weekend we are going to the Waterpark of America for a night with the Will family. Should be a fun time! I have to share a few cute pictures of Ethan, Carson, Aubrey & Jack too. We had never gotten a picture of all 4 of them together. Aubrey and Carson were having fun playing together when I took these pictures too. It's hit or miss with those two because they really don't like to share with eachother. It's fun watching them interact. :)

First haircut

Carson got his first haircut last weekend. (Sorry Grandma Renee!) He did a great job sitting for the girl that cut it...and I think he looks pretty cute!
